Amanda Smith

Amanda Smith is a Principal with Vanbridge and leads the Advanced New Business team. Mrs. Smith began her career in 2002 as an assistant in the investment advisory and insurance space.

Early in her career, she was working primarily in the agent licensing and commissions field, as well as handling case management. Over the years Mrs. Smith began to shift her focus more on case management, absorbing a tremendous amount of knowledge along the way regarding the underwriting process, and the most proficient ways to get cases placed quickly and with the carrier that is the best fit for the case design.

She is currently the director of Vanbridge’s new business team. In addition to overseeing the department, her main focus is on advanced case management for the firm’s high profile/high net worth accounts. This entails the processing of those large new business cases that require a little extra time and effort. Amanda works with producers on a daily basis at a concierge level to help them through the formal underwriting process.

Amanda considers all the areas she has worked in throughout the years including licensing, illustrations, financing, commissions and case management, in combination, have led her to where she is today and given her the unique ability to provide the best possible service in this industry. Amanda is a licensed life, health and variable annuity agent and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University.
