David Kopelcheck
Managing Principal
David Kopelcheck currently serves as a Managing Principal of Vanbridge, an EPIC company, in the Life and Executive Benefits division. David focuses on helping the agent place impaired risk cases utilizing his relationships with key underwriting and medical personnel at our core insurance carriers. In addition, David provides sales and marketing support to producers, financial advisors, and institutions.
David has over 25 years of industry experience. He began his career at Midland Mutual as a life specialist in the underwriting department and then moved to brokerage in 2006 with Moneymetrics. David worked in the high-net-worth market with a large life brokerage agency in San Francisco and moved back to Ohio when he got married.
Prior to joining Vanbridge, David was the President of the Rucker Company, a full-service brokerage general agency located in Dublin, Ohio that specialized in large impaired risk cases.
David is a member of the Risk Appraisal Forum, a very high-end study group with less than 15 members nationally. RAF meets with chief underwriters and medical directors of major life companies to discuss topics affecting life underwriting. The relationships garnered from the RAF membership distinguish Vanbridge in the impaired risk marketplace.
David graduated from Ball State University, College of Business with a B.S. in Marketing.
