Emily M. Kanterman

Emily Kanterman serves as a Principal with Vanbridge. She leads the Financial Institutions group, which specializes in placing General Partnership Liability coverage and associated lines for Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, Family Offices, and other alternative asset managers.

Ms. Kanterman has twenty years of insurance industry experience and has focused solely on the alternative asset management space since 2014.  She has considerable expertise in developing manuscript policy language and advocating for favorable client outcomes.

Prior to joining Vanbridge, Ms. Kanterman served as a Director and Senior Placement Specialist in Willis Towers Watson’s Mergers and Acquisitions group. Earlier in her career, she handled financial lines claims, first as an Analyst at AIG and later as a Claims Advocate at Willis.

Ms. Kanterman earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, as well as a B.A. from Binghamton University and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
