James Polifroni

James P. Polifroni serves as a Principal in our New York City office. Mr. Polifroni has over a decade of management liability experience, with the last 5 years serving as an Insurance Capital Intermediary in the Private Equity sector, specifically focusing on their portfolio company holdings.

Mr. Polifroni joined EPIC in 2017 to lead the national D&O placement practice and joined Vanbridge shortly thereafter in 2019, merging his placement experience with Vanbridge’s market-leading management liability facility.

Mr. Polifroni began his career as a Management Liability Professional Associate, then Underwriter at AIG and most recently served as a Vice President at USI prior to joining EPIC/Vanbridge.

Mr. Polifroni serves as a Class Chair for his alma mater, Bergen Catholic High School, and is an active recreational sports coach in his community.

Mr. Polifroni received his B.A. from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH, and holds multiple executive certifications from Columbia Business School.
