Jerry Brendle serves as a Managing Principal of Vanbridge in the New York City office.  With 25 years of extensive experience in insurance underwriting, Jerry has built a reputable career in the financial services industry. Having held high-level positions at well-regarded companies such as AIG, Gulf Insurance, Allied World, and Axis Capital, Jerry specializes in Transactional Risk Insurance products, including Representations & Warranties Insurance (RWI), Tax, and Contingency Risk.

At Gulf Insurance Group, Jerry established and led one of the first platforms focused on Transactional Risk Insurance underwriting platforms. This pioneering initiative set new industry benchmarks and opened new avenues for risk mitigation in transactional deals.

In addition to a focus on Transactional Risk, Jerry has expertise in financial lines that cater to Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. Recognizing the specific needs of this market, Jerry has developed multiple insurance underwriting verticals specifically designed to cater to Private Equity firms.
