Ray Hunt

Ray is a Managing Principal with Vanbridge’s Life and Executive Benefits division who focuses on the areas of finance, technology and increasing sales through relationships with advisors. He has over 30 years of experience in the life insurance and financial services industry.

Prior to joining Vanbridge, Ray was the Principal of Hunt Financial Group, Inc., a boutique second-generation General Agency that specialized in working with advisors on growing their life insurance practices.  In 2010, he merged his practice into Dixon Wells, a National Brokerage General Agency that worked with producers in complex underwriting and large jumbo retention cases.  

In 2021, Ray co-led the sale of Dixon Wells to Vanbridge, an EPIC Company, a property and casualty, an executive benefits and consulting firm.  

Ray currently sits on the Legal & General and Mutual of Omaha General Agent Councils. 

Ray holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lander University, where he has served on the University Board of Trustees for the last 25 years.
