Managing Principal

Robert is a Managing Principal of Vanbridge. Prior to joining Vanbridge, he served as a Principal at Dixon Wells, Inc., a leading national insurance brokerage firm. His career in the insurance industry began in 1990 when he worked as a Brokerage Consultant with Provident Life and Accident, specializing in marketing individual life and disability insurance in Nashville, TN. Over the years, he held various positions at Provident Life and Accident, including Regional Marketing Manager, where he focused on marketing employee benefits across Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. In 1997, he acquired Jack Benz & Associates, a regional insurance brokerage company. Subsequently, the company was renamed Quantum Insurance Partners in 2000 and later merged into Dixon Wells in 2010.

Robert has made significant contributions to the financial service industry throughout his career. He has moderated insurance courses at the American College and is a sought-after speaker at insurance industry events. He has also held leadership roles such as Past President of NAIFA-Nashville and NAIFA-Tennessee. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors in the Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Robert was nominated by LT. Governor Ramsey to the Board of Directors of the Cover Tennessee Program (Access High-Risk Pool) in May 2009-2011. He was honored with the Tennessee Insurance Professional of the Year Award in 2010 and received the prestigious Nashville NAIFA Todd Baker Award in 2011 for his exceptional service and contributions to the financial service industry.

Robert is a member of the Financial Service for All (FINESCA), and the Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council. He holds a degree from The University of the South and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College of Financial Services.
