Tyler Horning
Managing Principal
Tyler Horning serves as a Managing Principal at Vanbridge, an EPIC company. Prior to joining Vanbridge, he was Principal and CEO at TDC Life, an independent life insurance brokerage firm headquartered in Maumee, Ohio. Under his leadership, TDC Life grew by every measure. In 2024, Tyler co-led the sale of TDC Life to Vanbridge, where he and the team continue focusing on providing exceptional service to professional advisors and their clients nationwide.
His expertise lies in serving wealthy individuals and families, closely held family businesses, and professional athletes and entertainers. Specializing in high-end life insurance and estate planning solutions, he collaborates with attorneys, business managers, CPAs, and investment advisors to deliver best-in-class services for their clients’ unique and complex wealth preservation strategies.
Tyler is a graduate of Hillsdale College and remains a heavily involved alumnus. Additionally, he and his wife founded Ivywood Classical Academy, a K-12 public charter school in Plymouth, Michigan, where he serves as Board President.
