Julie Smith is a Principal and the Director of Strategic Marketing for both Vanbridge and EPIC’s Financial Services division. Ms. Smith has almost 30 years of experience in advertising, marketing and public relations.
As the Director of Strategic Marketing her responsibilities are tied directly to the Financial Services division’s strategic plan and include creating and implementing innovative and integrated relationship focused marketing strategies for the firm and its advisors. Her goal is always to make the company more accessible to its advisors, brokers and carrier partners.
Since 2011, Ms. Smith has overseen the planning and day-to-day execution of integrated marketing strategies on a firm wide basis. These initiatives include the ongoing management of the firm’s digital marketing programs and assets, including websites and social media platforms; the implementation of inbound marketing programs designed to cultivate client relationships and expand business development efforts and the proactive pursuit of public relations opportunities including the preparation and placement of press releases and corporate communications.
Prior to joining the financial services industry, Ms. Smith’s experience includes senior level positions held at advertising agencies and entrepreneurial pursuits including a boutique marketing communications firm and a multi-channel lifestyle brand retail store.
Ms. Smith received her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. She also holds a Marketing Strategy certification from Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management.
