Tom Bellig, JD

Tom Bellig serves as a Managing Principal of Vanbridge, an EPIC company, in the Life and Executive Benefits division. From 2005-2019, Tom served as co-Founder and President of Trumark Insurance, a Bay Area based boutique insurance brokerage firm, overseeing the firm’s sales and marketing activities within financial institutions, managing Trumark’s team of Sales Vice Presidents and providing individual retirement and estate planning risk management solutions to high-net-worth clients.

Prior to Trumark, Tom provided legal and strategic advice in the course of his employment in the San Francisco offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP where he was a practicing attorney.

In 2019, Tom co-lead the sale of Trumark to EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, a property & casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage and consulting firm, headquartered in San Francisco and merged Trumark into Vanbridge Insurance Services, EPIC’s Financial Services division. Through this transaction, Trumark became Vanbridge but continues to operate as before – with the purpose of helping to identify a client’s goals and designing risk management solutions using insurance based financial products to put the client in a better position to achieve those goals.

In partnership with Mitch Smith, Tom helps lead the Vanbridge / EPIC Life & Executive Benefits team by developing strategy, maintaining key institutional relationships, partnering with a select group of advisors in the high net worth market and building teams in key specialty areas.
